Newly Expanded Airport
The Swainsboro/Emanuel County airport recently underwent a beautiful expansion, bringing the runway to 6,000 feet. This expansion was due in part to the area’s logistical access to I-16, which is the connector to Savannah and the seaport. It accommodates two flights daily from United Parcel Service jets, as well as a local charter service.
